| Some would say this is the poster that started it all in San Francisco. No doubt about the crazy summer that was had at the Red Dog Saloon with lots of drinking and getting high on pot, but when the party ended that summer - back to San Francisco the Charlatans and attendees came to carry on the good times. The next big event was the Tribute to Dr. Strange. Basically the same type of advertising poster, but everything was soon to change as more professional artists got involved in producing and promoting the music that was being born in the Bay area at the time. |
