| This is a made up poster for a concert to be held at the Famous Fillmore Auditorium, although to my knowledge nothing was ever scheduled at the Fillmore and Dylan had dropped from the concert scene due to his motorcycle accident in 1966. Most likely this poster was created for a head-shop poster, but who knows maybe Dylan had plans to make a comeback performance and play at the Fillmore since it was the hottest venue in the entire county at the time. Certainly Bill Graham would have loved the publicity, but knowing Bill - he would have had his name promoting it, so that theory doesn't hold too well. |
